Beschreibung

Glorious Guilds of Buttonville (engl.) is a childrens game for 2 to 4 players aged 8+ with a playing time of 30 minutes. Players take on the role of guild masters recruiting quirky villagers to bring life and glory to Buttonville. Strategic timing, probability, and card synergies shape the gameplay, with a modular market and 25 unique villagers ensuring no two games are alike.

The village of Buttonville stands out as one of the most glorious places—if only there were people living there! In The Glorious Guilds of Buttonville, you take on the role of a guild master, recruiting quirky inventors, clever traders, and fearless guards to breathe life and honor into this sleepy town. Each round, you select two cards—either directly from the market or blindly from the deck. Once you collect enough like-minded villagers, you can lay down sets that trigger powerful effects: three gossiping bards create an inspiring song, while four skilled blacksmiths provide valuable discounts on further recruits. These sets grant immediate benefits, amplify each other, and eventually score victory points. A key feature of the game is the growing synergy within sets: the larger the group, the stronger the effect. Should you play three identical cards now or wait for a fourth to maximize your advantage? The modular market system also ensures each game setup is different, keeping gameplay fresh. With 25 unique villagers to recruit, no two games of Glorious Guilds of Buttonville are ever the same. Rally your guild, build your community, and secure the glory that Buttonville deserves!
