Great Battles of Julius Caesar Deluxe (engl.)

Beschreibung

Great Battles of Julius Caesar Deluxe ist ein Kennerspiel.

We are proud to reintroduce two classic titles from the Great Battles of History series in a deluxe edition, following the examples of Great Battles of Alexander and SPQR. Great Battles of Julius Caesar combines Caesar: The Civil Wars (1994) and Caesar: Conquest of Gaul (1996, reprinted in 2006) into one comprehensive package, including the individual battles that were originally released as separate modules. This edition features a single rulebook updated to the production standards of the latest Great Battles of History games, allowing all land battles from the original titles to be played using just one book. The solitary naval battle is covered by its own dedicated rulebook. The scenario book contains 20 battles presented in chronological order, illustrating the development of the Roman military system. It begins with early conflicts against various foreign enemies, continues through Caesar’s campaigns in Gaul and his civil wars against Roman rivals, and concludes with the Roman invasion of Britain a century later.
