Halls of Hegra (engl.)

Description

From an abandoned mountain fortress, you lead a group of Norwegian volunteers resisting numerically superior German forces in the early days of World War II. Halls of Hegra is a solo-only game that combines worker placement, bag building, and area control/tower defense mechanics, reminiscent of titles like Robinson Crusoe, This War of Mine, and Dead of Winter. You take on the role of the commander of the Norwegian forces, guiding them through three distinct stages: 1. Mobilization – Explore the fortress as you clear paths through snow and broken equipment. New recruits join your ranks while you plan supply routes to prepare for the siege ahead. 2. First Attack – The village below the fortress faces assault. Defend it while making final preparations for the upcoming siege. Send patrols behind enemy lines to secure vital supplies. 3. Siege – The fortress endures relentless bombing and infantry attacks. Maintain morale among your men and hold your position under pressure. Will you survive the siege of Hegra?
