Ion Game Design (2025)High Frontier 4 All: Module 5 Economy (Exp.) (engl.) Module 5 Economy expands the base game by introducing a stock market where players buy and sell shares in aerospace companies. Share values depend on customer demand, and majority shareholders decide on dividends or reinvestment. Shares retain value after crashes, making them a strategic asset for players managing company investments.
Module 5 Economy introduces a dynamic stock market where players can buy and sell shares in aerospace companies. The value of these shares is tracked in a market matrix, reflecting each company's capital and customer base. Players act as customers, and as more players use a company’s services, its capital increases, raising the share value.
Owning the majority of shares makes you the chairman, granting the authority to decide whether dividends are distributed or reinvested to lower service costs. Players strategize by investing in companies with rising value and selling shares when funds are needed elsewhere. Shares remain valuable even after an Aqua crash, often making shareholding more advantageous than holding Aqua itself.
