Kings of Serbia (engl.)

Beschreibung

Explore new worlds, conquer newly discovered territories, trade valuable resources, and build a thriving kingdom in Kings of Serbia. In this strategic deck-building game, players carefully choose their actions and develop their decks to expand their influence. The game includes a rulebook, over 200 cards, resource tokens, and exploration markers. Each player starts with a personal deck representing their people—workers, explorers, and soldiers—alongside a set of action cards. During each round, players assign cards from their hand to action cards to discover and conquer territories, produce resources, and sell them at higher prices. Gold serves as currency to acquire new character cards from the market, which are then added to a player's deck. Character cards feature symbols that indicate their abilities. Placing a character on an action card with a matching symbol grants bonus points. Exploring and conquering territories provides essential resources and powerful abilities. A dynamic market economy affects resource prices based on supply and demand—resources offered by multiple players decrease in value. The game ends when a specific number of territory piles are depleted, depending on the number of players. Then, players tally points from their personal decks and conquered territories. The player with the highest score wins. Kings of Serbia stands out with its unique mechanic: the cards you purchase and build into your deck also represent the workers you assign to action cards, activating their effects.
