Merchants of Magick is a strategic roll-and-write game set in the Set a Watch universe. You take on the role of a magical item shop owner, crafting powerful items and researching spells to sell to visiting Adventurers.
Each round, four polyhedral dice are rolled, and you choose two to either craft items or research enchantments for your shop. As you develop your stock and uncover new spells, you gain potions that allow you to manipulate dice in future rounds.
Adventurers travel between shops, looking for specific items shown on order cards. When you have exactly the item an Adventurer needs, you earn coins. But if you delay too long, Adventurers grow impatient and move on to your competitors.
After ten rounds, the player with the most coins from fulfilled orders wins the game.
