Minos - Dawn of the Bronze Age (engl.)

Description

In the ancient realm of Crete, among the sunlit shores and winding corridors of Knossos, the future of the Minoan civilization awaits your influence. As a leader of one of the four distinguished Minoan clans, your goal is to claim the prestigious title of Minos, the ultimate ruler of your people. Unlike other civilizations defined by conquest, the Minoans are known for their pursuit of peace and prosperity. Your journey centers around governance and the development of your clan’s unique identity rather than warfare. As a clan leader, you guide the first European civilization by building cities, monuments, and other structures. Open new trade routes, expand your territory, and defend it from outsiders. Collaborate with your clan council to plan actions, research advancements, and issue decrees that enhance your influence beyond your rivals’. You have just four rounds to prove yourself worthy of the legendary Minos title. During each turn, draft and assign dice to your programming board. Lower value dice allow you to secure stronger actions, while higher value dice help you advance on various tracks and claim their benefits. In the action phase, players take their dice in order from highest to lowest, executing the pre-planned actions. Build your tableau strategically—each card provides an immediate effect and a triggered reward tied to specific actions or die values, boosting your power. Additionally, twice during the game, players earn Victory Points for their civilization’s progress in the region.
