Mountain Goats: Big Mountain (Exp.) (engl.) Mountain Goats: Big Mountain expansion adds a 5th player and introduces the Big Mountain challenge to the base game. Players must decide whether to compete for king of the hill or commit to the Big Mountain, where only the highest ascents score points. This expansion increases tension and strategic timing in the final rounds.

The Mountain Goats expansion pack introduces a fifth player and the Big Mountain challenge to the classic king-of-the-hill gameplay. The Big Mountain offers a new climbing path where only one goat can occupy each step. Only those goats that reach the highest points on this mountain earn scoring opportunities. Players must carefully choose between competing for the traditional hills from the base game or committing their goat to the Big Mountain. Timing is crucial on the Big Mountain, as any goat committed there is out of play for the rest of the game and may not score if its position isn’t strong enough. This expansion adds strategic tension and intensifies the final rounds, making every decision count. Additionally, it increases the maximum number of players to five, enhancing the experience for both the base game and the Big Mountain expansion.
