Musket and Pike Dual-Pack (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 players aged 12+ with a playing time of 240 minutes. This dual-pack includes the first two volumes of the award-winning Musket & Pike Battle Series, featuring updated battles from the English Civil War with enhanced components, revised maps, and new formation icons for improved gameplay and historical accuracy.

Musket and Pike Dual-Pack brings back the first two volumes of the acclaimed Musket & Pike Battle Series, originally launched in 2002, in a thoughtfully updated and combined edition. This box contains the games "This Accursed Civil War" and "Sweden Fights On," both out of print for over a decade, now refreshed for a new generation of players. Included are two additional battles for "This Accursed Civil War": Cheriton 1644 and Cropredy Bridge 1644, which appeared in the designer Ben Hull’s original Desk Top Published version and later in C3i. Also featured is the Edgehill 1642 variant from Gustav Adolf the Great. To simplify setup and storage, infantry and cavalry units are unique to each battle across the pack. Enhancements introduced in Saints in Armor are incorporated here as well, including battle-specific cards with Turn Track, Victory Conditions, and Dead and Pursuit boxes for better usability. The playbook for "This Accursed Civil War" is updated to match the current series standards, while orders of battle and maps reflect the latest historical research. Counters now display formation icons, a much-requested feature by players over the years. The included battles cover key engagements of the English and Thirty Years Wars:

• Edgehill 1642: The first major battle of the war, where King Charles's troops face Parliament’s forces under the Earl of Essex in an indecisive fight that could have ended the conflict.
• First Newbury 1643: Essex takes a strong defensive position on Round Hill, halting the Royalist advance and preserving the rebellion.
• Cheriton 1644: Sir William Waller’s forces, aided by London militia, defeat the Royalists, marking a turning point in the war.
• Cropredy Bridge 1644: Following Cheriton, Waller attempts to trap part of the Royalist Army but is countered by difficult terrain and swift Royalist reaction.
• Marston Moor 1644: The largest battle of the war, where Parliamentarian and Scottish forces decisively defeat the King’s army, elevating Cromwell as a key leader.
• Second Newbury 1644: A surprise attack by three Parliamentary armies leads to a high-stakes battle that influenced the creation of the New Model Army.
• Naseby 1645: The debut of the New Model Army results in a crushing defeat for the King’s forces, ending his military power.
• Nördlingen 1634: The Swedish armies face a combined Imperial-Spanish force in a challenging siege and battle in Bavaria.
• Wittstock 1636: A brilliant double envelopment by Field Marshal Banér counters Imperial-Saxon forces despite being outnumbered.
• Second Breitenfeld 1642: A climactic confrontation sees the Swedish army secure a major victory against a larger Imperial force.
• Jankau 1645: A surprise winter campaign by Field Marshal Torstensson catches the Imperial forces off guard near Prague.
