Nine Minute Kingdom is a quick strategy game where players compete to build the most valuable kingdom in nine or fewer minutes. The objective is to earn points by completing edicts and by connecting various icons within your kingdom. The game lasts for nine turns during which all players act simultaneously. Each player selects one card to play on the table and then passes the remaining cards to their left. Using the cards received, players choose another card to add to their kingdoms. This continues until the ninth and final card is played. Each card played extends your kingdom on the table, following three simple rules: except for the first card, every new card must be placed adjacent to an existing one, the kingdom must form a 3x3 square, and cards can be placed freely without needing to match adjacent cards. When all kingdoms are complete, players score points starting with the "Kingsroad" edict, awarded to the player with the longest connected road. Other edicts are then distributed to players who meet their conditions. Additionally, players score points based on the terrain with the greatest variety of symbols in their kingdom, as indicated by the scorecards. The player with the highest total score wins the game.
