Pagan: Fate of Roanoke is an expandable deduction card game set in colonial America, 1587. The game features an asymmetrical struggle between a witch and a witch hunter. While the witch aims to complete a ritual of renaturation, the hunter seeks to uncover her true identity among nine villagers. Each turn, both players place their action pawns on active villagers to draw cards, play cards, and gain influence. Players each have a unique deck of fifty cards. The witch uses these cards to brew powerful potions, improve their familiar, and cast enchantments and charms. The witch hunter, on the other hand, recruits allies, claims strategic locations, and rigorously investigates the villagers. As the witch, your goal is to gather enough secrets to perform a ritual so powerful that it will bring the entire region under your spell and allow Mother Nature to reclaim the island. As the hunter, your mission is to rally allies and support to capture the witch before her deadly ritual can be completed.
