Pax Hispanica (engl.)

Beschreibung

Pax Hispanica (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 5 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 60 minutes. Set in the 17th century Caribbean, players take on roles from various nations to build colonies, engage in battles, and outsmart opponents through strategic choices in trade, combat, and philosophy to achieve victory.

In 17th-century Caribbean waters, you take on the role of a Spanish, English, French, Dutch, or Courish noble with ambitions to become a distinguished courtier, liberator, or pirate. The powerful Spanish crown dominates the region, the Inquisition listens closely, black markets flourish, and buccaneers threaten every shore. Each year, you sail among the islands, transporting, plundering, smuggling, or ambushing shipments of silver, pearls, gems, and priceless relics meant to finance your crown’s ambitions. Pax Hispanica features an asymmetrical gameplay where your victory depends on the choices you make through battle and intrigue. Strategically acquire cards from the market, develop your colonies, missions, and fleets, and engage in combat on sea or land. Outsmart your opponents in open battles or duels, and advance on the Philosophy Board to influence the world according to your vision and claim ultimate victory.
