In Pax Renaissance 2nd Edition, you take on the role of a Renaissance banker shaping the fate of Europe. Finance kings and republics, sponsor voyages of discovery, join secret cabals, or unleash jihads and inquisitions. Your decisions influence whether Europe progresses into a bright modern era or remains trapped in dark feudalism.

The game revolves around four paths of victory that determine Western Society’s future: imperialism, trade globalization, religious totalitarianism, or enlightened art and science. This edition features updated and expanded rules, enhanced components, and new Renaissance-inspired artwork. It also includes the previous expansion pack with 59 Market cards and 5 BoardGameGeek promo cards integrated into the core game.
