Beyond the Rift: A Perdition’s Mouth Card Game is a cooperative adventure for 1-4 players set after the events of Perdition's Mouth: Abyssal Rift. Explore the world of Zanziar through six branching campaigns, each centered on a different hero with a unique playstyle. Choose to be a stoic warrior, a daring magus, a clever dwarven engineer, a devout halfling priest, a cunning rogue, or a fierce berserker. Each hero comes with a distinct 26-card deck and special ability. Using the Evolving Deck System, heroes gain new items that replace cards in their starting deck, enhancing their powers and creating new strategies as the campaigns unfold. Each of the four campaigns included offers multiple scenarios with unique objectives, special actions, and a variety of enemies to challenge you. Players manage two key resources: Action Points and the hero deck. Cards drawn from the deck dictate available actions, which cost Action Points to play. These points also allow drawing extra cards, manipulating enemies, or activating special abilities. Careful resource management is essential to overcome the threats within Beyond the Rift. Equipping items modifies the hero deck by replacing specific cards assigned to certain body parts, providing stronger options that adapt to your preferred playstyle and the challenges ahead. With rich storytelling and tactical depth, Beyond the Rift offers a compelling continuation of the Perdition’s Mouth saga.
