Rebel Princess Deluxe (engl.)

Beschreibung

Rebel Princess Deluxe (engl.) is a childrens game for 3 to 6 players aged 8+ with a playing time of 30-40 minutes. Players take on the roles of fairy tale princesses trying to avoid marriage proposals during a five-day party. Each round features unique rules and special princess abilities, with upgraded components and a new catch-up mechanism in this deluxe edition.

Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and other fairy tale princesses are celebrating a five-day party. Meanwhile, the uninvited prince charmings try to sneak into the ball and propose marriage. As a princess, your goal is to avoid these proposals and remain single and independent once the festivities end.

Rebel Princess is played over five rounds, each representing one day of the party and introducing unique rules that change the gameplay every time. The game uses trick-taking mechanics: players play numbered cards in four different suits, following the suit led. The highest card of the leading suit wins the trick and collects all its cards. However, collecting cards can be a disadvantage, since prince charmings bring marriage proposals—each prince charming counts as one proposal, and the enchanted frog adds five. The player with the fewest marriage proposals after five rounds wins the game.

Each player also takes on the role of a distinct fairy tale princess with a special ability that can be used once per round, adding strategic depth to the game.

The Deluxe Edition enhances the original with:

• Two new princesses and additional round cards
• Princess cards upgraded to thick punchboard tiles
• Round cards redesigned as Tarot-sized cards with rules printed on each
• Rule and balance adjustments for rounds and princess abilities
• A new "Rebel of the Ball" mechanism to help players catch up if they fall behind
