Revive The: Call of the Abyss (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

As glaciers melt, vast lakes form, giving rise to the mysterious Scyphoz—lifeforms emerging from ancient spores hidden in the ice. These lakes become their home, and by settling nearby, you gain devotion points that unlock powerful Scyphoz cards. Through the new switch action, you can send your citizens on journeys to earn even more devotion.

The Revive: Call of the Abyss expansion includes 16 Scyphoz cards, 18 journey cards, 3 lake tiles, and a devotion track. It also adds 15 new machine tokens, 9 slot modules, 9 new citizen cards, and four unique tribes. All content, except for the Cordycephians tribe, supports solo play.

The four new tribe boards feature advanced sides with distinctive rules, abilities, and technologies:

• KAIROS: Operate in two modes—day and night—each granting different abilities. Timing your mode switches is key to their success.
• GIB'WARKS: Equipped with powerful gadgets that enhance switch actions and can unlock more for greater flexibility. Their tribe ability allows resetting the switch, boosting the importance of initiating journeys.
• OSTARIUS: Build large gates that can be switched on or off to aid or block other players. Proper placement can temporarily isolate parts of the board to their advantage.
• CORDYCEPHIANS: Leech off other players by exploiting their cards, buildings, and technologies, adapting their strategy to each opponent.
