Secret Recipe Kickstarter Bundle (engl.)

Description

Each player receives a part of the recipe with 4 ingredients that only they know. You give clues about your ingredients on the game board. You can also peek at the hidden recipe ingredients in the pantry, which will give you additional information.

You track other players' clues on your player board. At the end of each turn, there is a discussion phase, where players use the voting cards to make guesses about each other's ingredients. You score points for figuring out other people's ingredients: 2 points if multiple people guess it, and 4 if you're the only one to get it right. But watch out, wrong guesses cost you 1 point!

4 times in a game, you can use think markers to mark theories about other people's ingredients. They get you fewer points, but they don't cost you points if you're wrong. You score additional point tokens with points and bonuses when other people guess your ingredients. The sooner you communicate them, the better tokens you will be able to choose!

You use tea breaks to make pacts with other players and get some additional information about their recipes. The player with the most points wins!

Secret Recipe gameplay and components are language-independent. The rulebook in the box is English, and the publisher plans to have other languages available online as downloadable pdfs. So far they have Dutch, German, French, Italian, Slovene and Spanish translations confirmed. The cards in the expansion include text, and the text and rulebook will be in English.
