Six Sojourns (engl.)

Beschreibung

Six Sojourns (engl.) is a family game for 2 to 4 players aged 8+ with a playing time of 30-60 minutes. This short area control game involves tough choices, creative strategy, and high player interaction. Players grow their family, build houses, gain ships, and develop trades through selecting cards with unique actions and abilities. The game can be played as a campaign or through six individual journeys.

Six Sojourns is a fresh take on the area control genre, inspired by Eight-Minute Empire. The game challenges you to expand your family’s influence through thoughtful decisions, strategic planning, and direct player interaction. On your turn, you select one card from five available. Each card offers specific actions such as building houses, acquiring ships, moving across the map, and recruiting new family members. Cards also feature unique abilities and icons representing your family’s skills in trades like cooking, carpentry, sewing, shoemaking, art, blacksmithing, and jewelry making. Since only nine cards are chosen per game, every choice matters as you balance developing trades, leveraging abilities, and controlling territory. Once all players have played their nine cards, the game ends. Victory points are tallied, and the player with the highest score wins. Six Sojourns introduces new cards and rules with each journey, allowing you to tailor your experience by playing all six as a campaign or individually in sequence.
