The British Way (engl.)

Beschreibung

The British Way ist ein Kennerspiel.

The British Way: Counterinsurgency at the End of Empire is the first installment in a series of COIN multipacks, featuring four distinct games centered on thematically connected insurgencies. Between 1945 and 1960, the British engaged in four major “emergencies,” their term for counterinsurgency campaigns aimed at managing the decline of empire. This pack examines British counterinsurgency efforts against diverse adversaries, including communist insurgents in Malaya, militant nationalists in Kenya, and smaller, covert terrorist groups in Palestine and Cyprus. Each game adapts the core COIN mechanics to offer a fresh approach to two-player conflicts and streamlines several elements to speed up gameplay. The British Way provides an accessible entry point for newcomers to the COIN series while giving veteran players four mechanically distinct challenges to experience and compare.
