Vengeance: Roll & Fight is a real-time roll-and-write game set in the gritty world of Vengeance. Designed by Dávid Turczi, Noralie Lubbers, and Gordon Calleja, this standalone title transforms the fast-paced dice puzzle mechanics of the original Vengeance into a roll-and-write format. Players build combos, strike down enemies, and score points in an engaging mix of strategic planning and action-packed gameplay. Your mission is to infiltrate a gang den, battle through its rooms, and defeat the Boss while completing side objectives unique to each den. The game unfolds in three phases: planning, fighting, and montage. During planning, players roll and re-roll four dice in real time, aiming to match combinations with abilities they want to trigger in the fight phase. Assigning dice to activate these abilities allows players to refill their hand from a common pool and keep the action flowing. When the dice pool runs out, the fight phase begins. Players use their assigned dice to execute abilities, moving their characters through rooms filled with enemies to cross them off the board. Following combat, the montage phase lets players heal, upgrade their characters, and introduce new abilities and items to aid in their quest for vengeance. Vengeance: Roll & Fight is released in two standalone episodes, each featuring distinct heroes, dens, bosses, abilities, and items. Both episodes support up to four players, and combining them increases the maximum player count from four to eight. Components from either episode can be swapped freely, allowing for a customizable experience every time you play.
