Broken Planet (engl.)

Description

The Broken Planet is on the brink of destruction, held together only by the will of the Gods. The planet’s resources are too scarce to sustain all tribes, leading to a trial that will decide which tribe will earn the Gods’ favor. Players take on the role of scavenging tribes collecting powerful gemstones on the floating islands of the Broken Planet. Each turn, players secretly select an island using their compass and reveal their choices simultaneously to move and gather gemstones. Different islands host various temples where specific types of gemstones can be collected. Once gemstones are collected, the game enters the ‘Offer Phase’ where one tribe may discard gemstone cards to perform special actions. These include building temples with unique effects, creating relics to gain Godly favor, or launching divine strikes against opponents. While the offering tribe cannot move or collect on this turn, all other tribes may continue as usual. The offer phase rotates clockwise each round. Since all players act simultaneously, anticipating opponents’ moves and their gemstone needs is crucial to strategize effectively. After a set number of rounds, players tally their Godly favor. The tribe with the highest favor wins and is crowned the favored tribe of the Broken Planet.
