Eclipse: 2nd Edition Dawn Species - Outcasts (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

The Exiles: When the Cataclysm Wars swept through the galaxy, one civilization was cast out from the core. Forced to survive in the outer rims, the Exiles adapted to the harsh void by settling in Orbitals—artificial habitats capable of supporting their civilization even in resource-poor systems. Their advanced Orbital technology, considered superior yet controversial, was eventually adopted—some say stolen—by many members of the Seven. This has led to ongoing tension between the Council and the Exiles, who continue to demand full recognition as Council members, so far without success. The Exiles build unique Orbitals that also function as ships and score victory points at the end of the game. The Rho Indi Syndicate: The Terran–Hegemony War (30,027–33,364) devastated the Rho Indi sector, leaving entire planetary systems in ruins. In the aftermath, various shady characters and factions from multiple species flocked to The Desolation, a lawless haven that soon became the Syndicate’s domain. Known for sudden, stealthy strikes on unsuspecting systems, the Syndicate rules the sector with ruthless aggression. They occasionally ally with whichever faction offers the highest price but are widely regarded as unreliable partners. The Syndicate is an aggressive species with extra ship activations and gains money for destroyed ships. They also avoid negative points for being the Traitor. The Second Dawn editions of these races include numerous subtle balance adjustments, such as tweaks to starting resources and sectors.
