Fliptown (engl.)

Beschreibung

Fliptown is a flip-and-write game set in a wild west town where players earn stars by exploring different regions. Using a standard poker deck, players flip over three cards each turn: one determines the suit, activating one of four regions; another sets the value, selecting a site within that region; and the third contributes to a five-card poker hand resolved at the end of each round. The four regions—Trail, Badlands, Mine, and Town—each offer distinct puzzles and rewards such as cash, gold, helpful items like guns, horses, and tools, or bonus actions for powerful combos. Each site grants unique benefits, encouraging strategic choices. For solo play, you can aim for a high score or challenge one of four “cowbot” robot opponents, each with its own objectives. In multiplayer mode, players use shared community cards to resolve turns simultaneously, and bounty cards add competitive goals to race toward. Beyond the standard gameplay, you can choose from 14 wild west characters, each with unique starting resources and special abilities, adding variety and new strategies to your adventure through Fliptown.
