Description

Maximum Apocalypse is a cooperative roguelike adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has already collapsed. Players take on the roles of survivors striving to endure a hostile and ever-changing landscape. Each game features a randomly generated map, ensuring a unique experience every time you play. On their turn, players can take up to four actions, which include exploring new areas, playing cards, equipping weapons, scavenging resources, drawing cards, or battling monsters. Players choose from distinct survivor classes, each bringing unique strengths to the group. For example, the Fireman excels in close combat with his ax, while the Hunter specializes in scouting and avoiding traps. Success depends on strategic cooperation, leveraging each survivor’s abilities to defeat monsters and secure vital resources. If the group manages to gather enough fuel and return to their van, they escape the apocalyptic wasteland and win the game. However, if they succumb to overwhelming monsters or starvation, the survivors lose. Maximum Apocalypse challenges players to survive against the odds in a harsh, unforgiving world.
