Description

The Innkeeper is a 5th player expansion for Merchants Cove.

Any merchant can play against any other merchant (including expansion merchants) at any player count (including solo mode)!

As innkeeper Mr. Nasty (of Cavern Tavern fame), you'll need to pour drinks for thirsty customers and make beds for those travelers who are exhausted after a long day at the market. Properly preparing your rooms and selecting which drinks to have on tap will be the keys to a full house and fist fulls of profits.

But be warned, unhappy customers are quick to anger and will inevitably start trouble, tarnishing the establishment's reputation!

After the Market phase is all said and done, the Innkeeper takes 1 Customer from each dock (whichever customer type is the majority) into their inn and tries to find them a bed. Succeed and they will pay handsomely.

They will then become regulars who increase the reputation of the bar and the price you can charge for that color of bed.

Playing the Innkeeper is deceptively simple. On the surface you're playing dollhouse making drinks and beds, below the surface you are bidding, speculating, and attempting to sway the markets as best you can to turn a profit.

Be wary, patrons without a bed to sleep in, or table to drink at are sure to cause trouble, gaining you corruption each turn.
