Test of Honour Sohei Temple Guard (Exp.) (engl.)

Description

Led by Superior Saburo, the fierce Sohei warrior monks fiercely defend their sacred temple-fortresses to the very end. The warriors included in this box can be used alongside other Sohei forces, Ikko Ikki rebels, and allied samurai clans. These zealous fighters fear no death and become even more relentless when their comrades fall. Superior Saburo commands the defense of the temple-fortress, charging at his enemies to deliver a powerful one-off attack with the Dive Strike card. The Sohei sergeant can propel his troops forward in a sudden surge—or unleash a sudden burst of gunfire if used as a gunnery sergeant—offering a stark contrast to the steady ashigaru of the clans. The Creed Bearer carries a banner adorned with inspiring prayers and religious slogans, increasing the chances that nearby believers will activate their Strike bonuses. The devout Temple Guards are the toughest fighters, carefully selected from the warrior monks, capable of shrugging off minor injuries and continuing the fight unshaken. Their resilience can be further enhanced with the Final Guardians trait. Skill cards included in this expansion are Holy Relic, Hallowed Walls, and Power from Grief. Miniatures come unpainted and unassembled.
