The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The board and rule books act as a lid on top of the trays.
Once the insert trays are packed into the box you need to next place the two game boards on top of the trays. These are followed by the rule books, with the large reference cards added as shown. Once fully loaded the box is filled to the top, allowing for vertical storage.

Das Insert ist einfach zusammen zu bauen (man braucht nur eine Tube Alleskleber), passt gut in die Box (deutsche Erstausgabe) und bietet genügend Platz.
Ich hatte seinerzeit die "Update-Box" mit den deutlich größeren Karten der 2nd Edition gekauft und die großen Karten dann gesleeved - das passt gut in das Insert. Die kleinen "Original-Karten" der ersten Edition passen sogar auch noch mit rein (habe ich in die "Seitentaschen" des Card-Tray gepackt).
Wenn man nur das Grundspiel (ohne Erweiterung) hat, bleiben sogar noch Fächer frei in den Trays.
