Description

Combat Commander: Battle Pack #6 – Sea Lion is the sixth themed scenario collection for the Combat Commander series. Continuing the alternate history narrative from Battle Pack #5, this set explores a successful German invasion of Great Britain. Following an early and decisive Luftwaffe victory in the Battle of Britain, Germany gains air superiority over southern England and the strategically vital Channel Ports of Southampton and Portsmouth. The scenarios cover the period from late September through December 1940, depicting the initial invasion, the Axis push toward London, the city’s eventual capture, the early American entry into the conflict, and Britain’s counteroffensive, Operation Tremor, aimed at driving the invaders back across the Channel. Sea Lion includes ten new scenarios printed on card stock, along with ten new maps. Players will encounter special scenario rules featuring:

• Airdrops, including Fallschirmjäger and supply drops
• Prison breaks
• British fascist uprisings
• Targeted sniper attacks
• Partisan attacks on German rear areas
• Alternative night rules for opportunity fire

The new maps portray specific locations in southern England, many personally visited by the designer. Critical battlefields include Portsmouth, the Medway River, Trafalgar Square and Holloway Prison in London, and the Port of Dover. Will you lead German forces to crush British resistance and secure victory, or rally the Home Guard and remnants of Dunkirk’s defenders to repel the invaders and reclaim the homeland? Operation Sea Lion is underway.
