Memoir 44 - Tigers in the Snow (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

Following their success in Operatsiya Bagration, Soviet forces pushed rapidly towards the Baltic coast, cutting off communications between the German Army Group North and the remnants of Army Group Center. By early October 1944, the Soviets had reached the Baltic Sea near the port of Memel, effectively isolating Army Group North with no retreat path through East Prussia. Despite General Guderian’s requests to evacuate by sea and redeploy troops to Central Europe—where they were urgently needed—Hitler refused. Instead, over 200,000 German soldiers were ordered to dig in, hoping to use the Courland Pocket as a base for a future offensive. This expansion is not standalone and requires one copy of Memoir '44 and the Operation Overlord expansion, or two full copies of Memoir '44. For players seeking accurate figure colors, two copies of the Eastern Front expansion for Tigers in the Snow and one copy of the Mediterranean Theater expansion for Operation Market Garden are recommended but not mandatory.
