Maracaibo - The Uprising expands the base game with new project cards, home ports offering unique abilities, and an optional campaign featuring new Legacy Tiles and a story that can be played independently. It includes various modules and scenarios to customize gameplay, from simple to complex, enhancing the privateer adventure in the Caribbean.

As if the life of a privateer in the Caribbean wasn?t exciting enough, an ocean of new
possibilities spreads out in front of you. With new project cards you expand the existing ones,
adding new effects and variety to the game. New home ports give players individual abilities. You
can optionally play a new campaign, with new Legacy Tiles and a new story (which ties in with the
original story, but can be played without having finished the original campaign). And last but not
least an optional scenario lets you help drive the colonial powers back out of the Caribbean again.

to mix and match as you like: from very simple to complex, with familiar and entirely new
concepts.
