Description

Steam Power (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 5 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 45-90 minutes. Players race to build the best rail network by laying tracks, building factories, fulfilling contracts, and earning money. The game ends when a set number of contracts are completed, and the player with the most points wins.

In Steam Power, players "race" to build the best rail network to meet their contractual obligations and make the most money.

On your turn, you can perform two actions from a selection of choices, letting you lay tracks, build factories, fulfill contracts, earn money, or collect more contracts. Building a factory brings resources to the board that all players have access to...at a price.

The game ends when a certain number of contracts are fulfilled, which varies by player count. The player with the most points (and money, which converts to points) wins.

In Steam Power liefern sich die Spieler ein Wettrennen um den Bau des besten Schienennetzes, um ihren vertraglichen Verpflichtungen nachzukommen und möglichst viel Geld zu verdienen.

In ihrem Zug können sie zwei Aktionen aus einer Auswahlliste ausführen: Gleise verlegen, Fabriken bauen, Verträge erfüllen, Geld verdienen oder weitere Verträge sammeln. Der Bau einer Fabrik bringt Ressourcen auf das Spielfeld, auf die alle Spieler Zugriff haben - gegen einen Preis.

Das Spiel endet, sobald eine bestimmte Anzahl an Verträgen erfüllt ist, die je nach Spielerzahl variiert. Der Spieler mit den meisten Punkten (und dem Geld, das in Punkte umgewandelt wird) gewinnt.
